CHARTERING OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE
Description & Duties:
  1. Planning and coordination of voyages – including checking stowage plans, calculating bunker requirements, preparing itineraries, voyage estimates
  2. Following up on daily operations of the vessel, and updating voyage information timely and regularly in the system
  3. Communicating with owners, charterers, brokers for smooth operations during voyages
  4. Coordinating with agents and ship Master to ensure quick turnaround at the loading and discharge ports
  5. Ensuring that cargo documentation is done in a proper manner
  6. Preparation of hire statements, freight invoices, and laytime calculations, charter parties
  7. Checking of invoices, port disbursement accounts
  8. Resolving disputes with our business partners while maintaining a good commercial relationship
  9. Assist and perform any other duties as delegated by the Chartering Managers and Operations Manager
Requirements:
  1. Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies, Business Administration or related disciplines
  2. Experience in the dry bulk shipping industry will be a plus
  3. Fresh graduates are most welcome to apply
  4. Mature, motivated, meticulous and hardworking candidates are preferred
  5. Knowledge of foreign languages will be beneficial
